Clever Integration with Data from Your SIS

The following steps will guide you through the process of gathering the data needed for us to set up your school account.

For simplicity, please email data files directly to our client success team at
  1. If you are a public school, please send through the name of your district (Clever sync will come through at the district level).
  2. Please send the first name, last name, and email address of anyone in your school who will need counselor level access. We need to add you and your team to Scoir prior to the Clever sync to ensure you are not part of the teacher list in Scoir. 

Clever Sync

Please inform your IT administrator to request a full sync with Scoir through the Clever App Gallery. It won’t take more than a minute or two of their time! Clever will notify us about the request, we’ll approve it, and then your student information will automatically be updated on a daily basis. (Time to Complete: 2 minutes)

Please be sure to share the following fields when requesting the sync:
High School Student ID
- Student First Name
- Student Last Name
- Student Date of Birth
- Class Year
- Email Address

Parent Data

To provide parents or guardians with their own accounts so they can see their child's college list and access our cost of attendance calculators, please provide a parent/guardian listing that includes the below data fields from your SIS system.  If you are including more than one parent or guardian associated with the same student, each requires a separate email and must be listed in separate rows. 

Please be sure to include the following fields when syncing parent data:
Parent First Name
- Parent Last Name
- Parent Email Address
- Associated Student ID
- Parent Preferred Phone Number, Parent ID (Optional)
- Student First Name, Student Last Name, Student Class Year (Optional)

What Happens Next? 

Our Client Success Team will review and process your data as soon as we receive all requested files. If we identify any anomalies or discrepancies, we might need to contact you to resolve them. Your account will typically be ready 2-3 days after we receive all data, at which time we’ll contact you so you can login, review data, and schedule a training session for you and your team.
