Some quick facts about Assignments:

  • Default view: By default, up to three incomplete assignments are displayed. If additional assignments are available, click Show More to view them. To access completed or archived assignments, use the Show archived toggle.
  • Organization: Assignments are sorted by due date, with overdue or upcoming tasks prioritized at the top for easy access
  • Assignment details: Each assignment shows the due date, topic, and icons so you know what kind of content is included (like a play button for videos).
    • The first assignment opens expanded by default. To see more details—like a description or an attached form—click on any assignment to expand it. If a form is included, you’ll see a Go to Form button.
    • Can't open a task or form? Check out or FAQ below
  • Multiple parents: If a student is linked to various parents/guardians in Scoir, each parent will receive the same assignment
  • Notifications: You’ll receive an email when new tasks are assigned, or reminders for current ones are sent

Parent assignment details
  1. Follow the counselor's instructions to complete the assignment
  2. If a form is included, access it by clicking Go to Form
    1. Scoir will automatically save your progress as a draft as you fill out the form. You can also click Save Draft to save your work and return to it later if needed
    2. After completing the form, click Submit. This will mark the assignment as complete
  3. If the assignment doesn't include a form, you can mark it as complete once you're done

If you need to redo your assignment, click the checkmark again to mark it as incomplete. If your student’s counselor allows, you can also resubmit your responses to a form by accessing it in your archived assignments, even after the due date has passed.
