Changing Your Email Address

Parents and Guardians can update or change their own email address in Scoir.  In order to do so, an email address must be first added as secondary and then converted to the primary email. The previous email can be removed once that's completed.

Please note: An email address can only be use on one account in Scoir. The same email address cannot be on multiple accounts. This is especially noteworthy if you are both a parent and a teacher or staff member at a high school on Scoir.

In order to change an email address:

  1. In the Profile tab, under Personal Details, navigate to the email section.
  2. Click on +Add Alternate Email.
  3. Enter the new email details.


  1. Confirm the new email address.
  2. Click Make Primary to set the new email address as primary.
  3. (Optional) Click the pencil icon to remove the original email address.
