Grades 6-8: Scoir data gathering instructions for account setup (ClassLink)

We’re excited to get you started with Scoir! To set up your account, we need to gather some essential data. This guide provides a checklist of everything required and is tailored to your school’s data needs. 

All of the steps listed below must be completed before your account setup can start.

If someone else on your team will be completing this process, please share their contact information with your Customer Success Manager. This ensures they receive the necessary steps and guidance to begin your account setup.

📌 Important things to know before you begin

  • Changing SIS Systems? If your school will be changing SIS systems, please inform our team before the update. Student IDs can be changed by our team with a three-week lead time after a data file with both old and new IDs is provided.
  • SSO Requirement: SSO (Single Sign-On) is required to register middle school students if email addresses are not available.
  • Email Updates: Scoir’s support team can only update email domains for students. Staff must update their own emails by following the steps outlined in this guide: For Counselors/Teachers: Changing your email address

Our Scoir Support Team will review and process your data. If we have any questions or spot any discrepancies, we'll reach out to you. Once we verify all the data looks good, your Scoir account will typically be ready within 5-7 business days.
