For Counselors/Teachers: Changing your email address

To change your email address, it must first be added as an alternate email, validated, and then set as primary.

  1. Click on your name in top right and select Personal Profile from the menu
  2. From your profile, click Account Settings on the left side of the screen
  3. In the Account Email section, click +Add Alternate Email
  1. Enter the new email you would like to use and click the + icon to the right of the email box
  1. Your screen should look like this with the new email ‘awaiting verification’.  Click Done
  1. If you are a user in only one high school, log out of Scoir (this is really important).  Make sure no Scoir tabs are open on your desktop.
    If you are a user in multiple high schools, log into one high school and leave this Scoir tab open. This is a requirement since we don't know which high school to log into.
    Check your email for a verification message. Click the orange button in the email to verify your account. If you have other tabs open, you might encounter an error while verifying. If you can't find the verification email in your inbox, you can resend it.
  1. Once the account is verified, log back into Scoir and go back to the Account Settings page.  Click Make Primary next to the new email to set it as your primary email
  1. (Optional) Click the pencil icon at the top right next to Account Email, to remove the old account
