For Counselors/Teachers: Updating your email

If your email address has changed, and this needs to be adjusted in Scoir, please follow the steps below!

  1. Log into Scoir, and navigate to ‘your name’ at the top right side of the screen and select ‘Personal Profile’
  1. Click ‘Account Settings’ tab, on the left side of the screen
  2. Navigate to the Account Email section and Click ‘+Add Alternate Email’
  3. Add your new email and click ‘+’.  Your screen should look like this with the new email ‘awaiting verification’.  Click Done
  4. If you are a user in only one high school, log out of Scoir (this is really important).  Make sure no Scoir tabs are open on your desktop.
    If you are a user in multiple high schools, log into one high school and leave this Scoir tab open. This is a requirement since we don't know which high school to log into.
    Navigate to your email and verify this account by clicking the orange box in the email to verify.  If you have existing tabs open, you could get an error when attempting to verify your account
  1. Once the account is ‘verified’, log back into Scoir, follow the steps in step 1 and 2 to get to the Account Settings page.  Click the blue link “Make Primary”
  1. At this point, you can click the pencil icon at the top right next to Account Email, to remove the old account are done!
