Scoir Application Activation Checklist

Have you completed all of the following steps below? If so, your application should then be active in Scoir for students to apply to your college with Scoir! Please be sure you have followed and completed every step.

These can only be completed by the Application Manager permission in Scoir.

  1.     Application | Set Rounds – check the application rounds in Scoir to confirm they are all included

Create and configure your application rounds in Scoir.

Notes:  If your 'Application | Configure' tab has ‘transfer’ enabled, a transfer round must also be configured in the Applications | Set Rounds tab as well. — Do not combine "First-year" and "Transfer" rounds unless you wish to have the same deadline and cut-off date for both groups.

**No changes will be allowed after July 27th, so please make sure these are complete by that date.

Our step by step help document to configure rounds can be found here.

Are Application Deadline dates correct in Scoir?  Deadlines dates will reflect Universal Time Coordinated (UTC) as the cut-off time for application submissions.  It is not based on the student’s time zone.  Please ensure your deadlines can accommodate this.  No changes can be made after August 1st.

2.     Application Documents – is your institution setup to receive documents from Scoir and are documents configured as needed?

Is your college configured to received documents from Scoir?  Is Slate your default document delivery system?

If you need to make an update to your document system, please reach out to support@scoir.com to get information on document delivery.

Check to ensure documents that your college would like to receive in Scoir are listed ‘as available’ or ‘required’.  Any documents that are not needed should be listed as ‘Do not send’.  This will prevent extra documents from being sent to your college.  Any document marked as ‘Do not send’ won’t populate on the high school side to allow counselors to forward these documents.  This can be found in the application rounds help document

3.     Application Fees – verify Scoir lists your fee correctly

Ensure Application fee represented in the School Profile tab, reflects your institutions correct amount.  We do not currently have the ability to put multiple fees, only one, so we do recommend that you use the highest value to ensure students are prepared.

4.     Application | Configure

This section will need to be completed by your college.  We have designed a help document to assist with step by step instructions here on this process.

5.     Application | Activate (5-Step process)

This section will need to be completed by your college.  We have designed a help document to assist with step by step instructions here on this process.

Once all (5) steps are completed on this tab and Turn On Apply with Scoir is checked, students will be able to apply to your college!
