This article outlines how students see and register for Office Hours, whether virtual or in-person.

Student View of Office Hours

Office Hour Meetings appear in the Upcoming Visits and Office Hours section of the student dashboard. To register, students simply click Register.

When a student clicks Register for an Office Hours visit, the event is confirmed automatically—no manual confirmation by counselors is needed. The student will also see a Registered status on their Student Dashboard.

Students will receive a notification in Scoir and via email one day before the meeting. They can access the meeting by clicking on it in their account. Encourage students to download the Scoir mobile app (iOS) for push notifications reminding them of upcoming visits. Meetings can be viewed from their Dashboard and in the Office Hours and Visits section of their account.

If a student wishes to unregister, they can click the Registered button again and confirm their cancellation.
