For Counselors: Implemented Advanced Email Integration

Scoir supports an advanced email experience where emails sent via Scoir will come directly from your school email address.

Advanced email allows you to email both registered and unregistered users.

This reduces the risk of important messages being ignored or overlooked, and enables schools to send emails to all students or guardians in their roster, regardless of whether or not they have registered on Scoir. For more information, click here.


Once the integration for your school is completed, you will be able to email users in various places in Scoir:

Student Roster:
If you are selecting specific users across multiple pages, you need to send the email before navigating to the next page, otherwise you'll lose your selection.

The email preview shows an estimated # of recipients and allows you to include parents/guardians and counselors. You still can send the email from automated@scoir.com if you wish, just keep in mind—that option will exclude unregistered users.

You can track all emails sent to users via Scoir under the Communication tab, when you click on Sent and then Emails:
