For Counselors: Edit or delete a visit

To manage the details of an individual visit, click its listing in the calendar view. Here you can edit the details by clicking the Edit button. Editable details are dependent upon the type of visit that was created (open availability or closed visit). If you require approval on visits, you'll want to approve the request first before you can edit it.

Once the RSVP deadline for students or colleges has passed, it cannot be extended. For example, if the deadline for students was set to 5 days and an attempt is made to extend it on day 6, it will not be possible since the deadline has already expired.

When you’re finished editing, click Update.

You can also delete the visit by clicking its listing in the calendar view and clicking Delete and Yes to confirm.

Students registered to attend this event will receive a notification within Scoir, alerting them of the event change. You can encourage students to download our Scoir mobile application (on iOS); students with the app will receive a push notification alerting them of the event modification.

Counselors are unable to add or remove students from a college visit. Only students can register or cancel their own attendance.
