Syncing Clever with Scoir

Syncing Clever with Scoir automates student and teacher rostering, ensuring your data remains accurate and up to date. This integration reduces manual data entry by syncing rosters, keeping Scoir aligned with your school’s most current enrollment records.

Below, you'll find important details about the syncing process, step-by-step instructions, next steps, and how to reach out to Scoir for assistance if needed.

📌 Important things to know before you begin

  • What data is supported? We support auto-rosters of users in the Students, Teachers and Staff Clever tab only. Students and Teachers are required to be shared, Staff is optional. Please let our team know if you would like Staff included in your Clever auto-rostering.   We do not currently support parent rostering. 
  • One School, One Clever ID: Each Clever ID can only be linked to one Scoir high school. If you have different Clever IDs for different programs, they can't all connect to the same Scoir school.
  • No custom fields: We currently do not support custom fields from Clever.
  • Public schools: If you are a public school, please provide your district name. This helps us connect the correct district/high school in Scoir. We may reach out regarding this.
  • Student ID: Clever automatically pulls student_number as the HS Student ID in Scoir, unless your team informs us otherwise.  Both SIS and/or State can be used instead.  This number is used to match student data moving forward in Scoir.
  1. App integration: Your IT administrator must request a full sync with Scoir via the Clever App Gallery.
  2. Approval Process: Clever will notify Scoir of the integration request. Scoir will then approve this. Next your team will need to share the designated student and teacher data with Scoir.
  3. Data Verification: Ensure your team shares all required fields with Scoir. The sync cannot proceed without these fields. Refer to the Student Fields and Teacher Fields sections below for details. Clever provides both required and optional data for your team to review—double-check that all necessary fields are included before proceeding.
  4. Automated Sync: Once configured, rostered user information will be automatically updated in Scoir on a nightly basis.
  5. SSO Activation: Once the Clever integration is complete, Clever students and teachers can use the Single Sign-On (SSO) option to access Scoir.
Please only share the grades per your data gathering instructions.  Both students and teachers are required.

  • Student ID (student_number will be
    used unless otherwise specified)
  • Grade
  • Date of Birth
  • Email
  • Location

Optional Fields:

  • Weighted GPA
  • Unweighted GPA
  • Hispanic Ethnicity
  • Race

👩‍🏫 Teacher & Staff Fields

Teacher Required Fields:

  • First Name
  • Last Name

Staff Optional Fields (Staff tab only, no Admins):

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email
