For Counselors: Viewing your Student's Document Storage (MyDrive)

Actions described in this guide require the Student Counselor role.

Scoir offers a comprehensive document storage solution for students with support for common file types and external links.

Counselors have the ability to view and add items to a student’s Drive.

Viewing items in a student’s Drive

To view the items in a student’s Drive, follow these steps.

  1. Navigate to the My Drive section of the student’s profile found in the Overview tab.



  2. Click the title of the file or link you wish to view. Depending on the type, the file or link will open in your browser or will be downloaded to your computer.

Managing a student’s Drive

Adding items to a student’s Drive

To add files to a student’s Drive, follow these steps.

  1. In the My Drive section of the student’s profile, click the Drop files to attach, or browse button. You can also drag and drop files directly onto the button to upload.
  2. In the Choose files window, click the Choose files button, or drag and drop files directly into the Choose files window.


  3. When you’re finished adding files, click Upload.

To add links to a student’s Drive, follow these steps.

  1. In the My Drive section of the student’s profile, click the Share or Link button.
  2. Paste the URL of the Google Doc or website you would like to link, or the Share link for YouTube, Vimeo, or Soundcloud.

  3. Give the link a title, then click Save.

Deleting items from a student’s Drive

Counselors have the ability to delete counselor-created items from a student’s drive.

To delete a file or link from a student’s Drive, follow these steps.

  1. Click the dot icon next to the file or link you wish to delete.
  2. From the dropdown menu, click Delete.


  3. When prompted to confirm deletion, click Yes.
