For Colleges: Editing, copying, and deleting Application Requirements

Only users with the Application Manager role can edit Application Requirements. If you're unsure of your access, reach out to your Scoir Account Administrator or email support@scoir.com.

Once you’ve created your Application Requirements, the next step in setting up an Application Round in Scoir is to add an Application Deadline. These deadlines define when students need to submit their application and application materials for specific rounds—like Early Decision, Regular Decision, or program-specific deadlines such as Honors or Transfer.

These deadlines will be visible to students, counseling staff, and supporters when they view your institution’s profile in Scoir.

 Accessing Application Requirements

To view and manage your Application Requirements, go to Application > Set Rounds. You’ll find all existing requirement sets listed in the Application Requirements section.

Save time setting up Application Rounds! If you’ve already created rounds in a previous cycle, Scoir makes it easy to reuse them. When setting up your Rounds, you’ll see a banner prompting you to copy your current Rounds. This lets you carry them over and make quick updates without starting from scratch.

Edit Application Requirements

Direct editing is disabled during the application season, beginning August 1. Scoir reopens editing of Application Requirements in late June, giving you time to make updates ahead of the upcoming application season.

If you need to make changes after that date, please email support@scoir.com.

To adjust your document requirements:

  1. Click the pencil icon on the requirement set you want to update.
  2. Make your changes to the document types.
  3. Click Save to apply your updates.

Duplicate Requirements

Duplicating a requirement set is a quick way to create a new one based on an existing setup. It’s especially useful if you're working with a similar applicant type or only need to make minor changes

To duplicate a requirement set:

  1. Click the copy icon on the set you want to duplicate.
  2. Enter a name in the Requirements Name field.
  3. Adjust document types as needed.
  4. Click Create to save the new set.

Delete Requirements

A requirement set can’t be deleted while it's still assigned to a round or deadline. To delete it, first reassign those rounds to a different set or remove the rounds entirely.

Once the requirement set is not in use:

  1. Click the trash icon on the set you want to delete.
  2. In the confirmation window, click Confirm to permanently delete it. If you recieve the following error message, you must assign those rounds to a different set of requirements before deleting the current one.
